Orem Youth Soccer is a community-driven organization that relies on the support of dedicated volunteers. If you're interested in getting involved, we’d love to hear from you! Below is an overview of the roles available and what to expect when volunteering with us.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering is a great way to support your child’s soccer experience and make a difference in our club. Currently, volunteers receive a waived or refunded registration fee (subject to review as costs rise).

How It Works

• No formal application process

• No deadline to express interest

• Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis

• We maintain a list of interested volunteers and reach out when openings occur

Volunteer Roles

Field Duty Volunteers
Staff the Lakeside pavilion during recreation games. Responsibilities include:

• Answering questions from families

• Directing people to the correct fields

• Distributing items to coaches or players

• Assisting with uniform sales (as needed)

Age Group Coordinators (AGCs)
Manage a specific recreation age group. Duties include:

• Forming teams

• Finding and confirming coaches

• Serving as the liaison between the club and coaches

• Equipment Coordinator (balls, cones, etc.)

Expectations & Commitment

• A full-year commitment is expected from all volunteers

• Participation in fall uniform distribution and spring tryouts (end of May) is required

• Occasional help with club projects (e.g., organizing uniforms or equipment) may be requested
